Massage Therapy
Certificate Program
This program familiarizes students with the theory and hands-on clinical skills necessary for entry-level positions as a Massage Therapist. The goal of the program is to assist Professional Massage Therapists trained to sit for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork examination (NCBTMB) in Massage Therapy. These skills will enable graduates to qualify for work in various health care settings, including a hospital, chiropractic office, massage clinic, nursing home, health club, spa or in private practice. This hybrid program is made available less than 49% of instructional hours via distance education therefore; it provides an excellent opportunity for students currently working in the business field to upgrade their skills and knowledge.
